Korean War

The 45th Infantry Division was called into Federal service for a second time in 1950, and by December of 1951 they had entered the war in Korea.

The Korean War Gallery features 4 exhibit cases which chronicle the division’s actions throughout the war. Often times referred to as the “Forgotten War” the aim of this exhibit is to educate museum visitors about the Thunderbirds role in this important part of military history.
